Tests We Perform

Water Absorption & Porosity

IS 13630 (Part 2), IS 1124 (Natural Stone)

Determines water absorption and apparent porosity to evaluate durability, weather resistance, and suitability for construction applications.

Sample: 5 tiles / 3 stone specimens TAT: 2-3 days

Modulus of Rupture (Flexural Strength)

IS 13630 (Part 6), IS 1237, IS 1121 (Part 1)

Measures flexural strength to assess the load-bearing capacity and resistance to bending of tiles and natural stones.

Sample: 5 specimens TAT: 2-3 days

Abrasion Resistance

IS 13630 (Part 10), IS 1237 (Part 2), EN 14157

Evaluates resistance to surface wear and abrasion for flooring and paving applications subjected to traffic.

Sample: 5 specimens TAT: 3-5 days

Dimension & Squareness Check

IS 13630 (Part 1), IS 1237

Verification of dimensions, thickness, straightness, rectangularity, and surface flatness to ensure product quality.

Sample: 10 tiles / 5 stone slabs TAT: 1-2 days

Thermal Shock Resistance

IS 13630 (Part 32), ISO 10545-9
