Bitumen Binder Testing

IS 1201 Series

Evaluates physical and engineering properties of paving bitumen for quality and specification compliance.

Parameters: Penetration, Softening Point, Ductility, Viscosity, Flash & Fire Point, Specific Gravity, Loss on Heating

Sample: 5 kg TAT: 2-3 days

Bituminous Mix Design (Marshall Method)

ASTM D6927 / MoRTH

Determines the optimum bitumen content and performance characteristics of asphalt mixtures.

Parameters: Marshall Stability, Flow, Air Voids, VMA, VFB, Bulk Density

Sample: 25 kg mix TAT: 3-5 days

Bituminous Mix Extraction & Gradation

ASTM D2172

Determines bitumen content and aggregate gradation of asphalt mixtures for quality control.

Texture Depth Test (Sand Patch Method)

Wheel Tracking Test

Evaluates rutting resistance of asphalt mixtures under repeated wheel loading.
